In this role, you will independently manage and lead complex family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, equitable distribution, and protective order cases. This is a full-time, hybrid position serving clients throughout Prince William County, Loudoun County, and surrounding areas.This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned litigator who is passionate about family law and eager to take a leadership role within a well-established and growing practice.Key Responsibilities
- Manage a substantial caseload of family law matters from intake through final resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials before Circuit and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Courts.
- Provide strategic and compassionate counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.
- Collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior attorneys to ensure consistent, high-quality advocacy.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Virginia (required).
- Minimum of 5–8 years of family law experience, including significant courtroom and trial experience.
- Strong legal writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to develop case strategies and deliver effective client advocacy.
- Leadership ability and interest in mentoring junior attorneys.
