HHM Talent is assisting a law firm client in their search for a Family Law Paralegal in Memphis, TN.Position OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced, highly organized and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join their team. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys and clients to assist with the management of cases that include divorce, child support, child custody, contempt, orders of protection and modifications. The ideal candidate is well organized, professional, dependable, compassionate and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail and maintaining client confidentiality. Location: This is an in-office role in Memphis, TN. Candidates must be willing to commute or relocate to be considered.ResponsibilitiesScheduling client appointments, scheduling consultations, communicating with opposing counsel, Courts and other professionals. Prepare, organize, and maintain pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, exhibits and other legal documents. Assist with drafting and filing Court documents. Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, monitor deadlines, hearings, mediations, discovery deadlines and other important dates. QualificationsMinimum of two (2) years of experience in family law, handling high-volume case load.Paralegal certificate preferred.Must have working knowledge of the Court's electronic filing system (eFlex) and Court compliance procedures. Experience with Arkansas court system is a plus.Experience with document management system, NetDocs, and practice management software, MyCase is preferred.Independent thinker who can problem solve and anticipate attorney and client's needs.Compensation and BenefitsOur client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
