Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Location
Clinton, New Jersey. This role begins fully in office for approximately 90 to 120 days so you can become fully integrated with the team and workflow. After that period, a hybrid schedule may be offered, with three in office days per week, including Tuesdays.
Note:
Candidates must have either 1+ year of family law experience OR a paralegal certificate or active enrollment in an accredited program with the certificate expected within one year of starting employment. Candidates with both family law experience and a paralegal certificate are especially encouraged to apply.

Job Description
- Support attorneys throughout active family law and matrimonial matters
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Organize case files and maintain accurate electronic and physical records
- Manage discovery materials and help ensure deadlines and document requests are completed accurately
- Maintain attorney calendars and coordinate appointments, court appearances, and case deadlines
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties
- Assist with court filings, case preparation, and general legal administrative responsibilities
- Help provide organized, responsive, and compassionate service to clients handling sensitive family matters
Qualifications
- 1+ year of family law experience OR a paralegal certificate or active enrollment to obtain one within one year
- Experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or similar legal support professional preferred
- Strong legal document preparation, organization, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and confidential information
- Professional and empathetic approach to client communication
- Familiarity with New Jersey family court procedures is preferred
