Seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Family Medicine Physician to join our growing healthcare team in Aurora, Colorado. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality, comprehensive care while building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families.
Position Summary
The Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan, with an emphasis on preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and whole-person health. The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who values collaborative care, excellent communication, and a patient-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and common medical concerns.
- Perform routine physical examinations, health screenings, and preventive care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with patients and their families.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, asthma, and other common conditions.
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
- Provide counseling on preventive health, nutrition, lifestyle, and wellness.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical records.
- Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical practices.
- Foster a welcoming, respectful, and culturally responsive patient experience.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Colorado.
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
