Position Summary:
The Family Office Associate will be responsible for providing a dedicated solution for the complex management of high-net-worth individuals’ personal and business finances such as bookkeeping, payroll, administrative and clerical support, as well as miscellaneous tasks and projects as requested by clients.
Your Impact (Essential Duties):
Serve as primary client contact.
Provide administrative and accounting support for various Family Office clients which include trusts, estates, partnerships, limited liability companies, S-corporations and private foundations.
Manage accounting and administrative day-to-day operations of multiple residences and commercial properties; responsible for account payables and receivables; preparation of bank deposits, recording vendor invoices and preparation of checks and wire transfers.
Interface with vendors and financial institutions on day-to-day transactions; oversee cash management and bank account transactions.
Reconcile bank, credit card and investment account statements; record journal entries; prepare quarterly and year-end financial statements and other reporting as requested by client or managers/partners.
Process payroll with minimal supervision; respond to notices from regulatory agencies.
Assist client and tax team in gathering tax documents needed to file accurate tax returns; coordinate with client and tax team in making quarterly estimated or extension payments.
Create specialized reports to meet the specific needs of each individual family group.
Performs other duties as assigned or as requested by client.
Your Background:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting
Minimum 3 years full-charge bookkeeper w/financial statement preparation
Minimum 2 years payroll preparation and associated filing experience
Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
Advanced level of proficiency in QuickBooks required
Ability to follow procedures and deliver high-quality, reliable work
Ability to work independently while proactively seeking support as needed to maintain efficiency and productivity
Full-time or part-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlines
- Pay range for Colorado candidates is $26.50-$33.50 per hour
