Job Description

Looking for a highly compensated, flexible practice that allows you to live where you want? Hamilton County Hospital (Syracuse, KS) offers two physician models designed for lifestyle, balance, and stability.

You don t need to relocate to rural Kansas many of our physicians live in Oklahoma City (our headquarters), Denver, or Wichita and commute for scheduled weeks.

Option 1: Single Physician Model

Compensation: $400,000-$425,000/year
Schedule & Flexibility:
- 26 weeks/year on-site (2 out of every 4 weeks)
- 16 weeks/year remote supervision of APPs (from home or locally)
- 10 weeks vacation annually
Duties:
- ER call (low volume, average 2 patients/24 hrs) from home
- Inpatient rounding: Acute daily, Skilled weekly, LTC monthly
- Outpatient clinic (M F)
- Occasional executive team visits to other hospitals
Census: 3 4 ADC acute/skilled, 13 LTC, 8 clinic

Option 2: Two-Physician Team Model

Compensation: $300,000/year each
Schedule & Flexibility:
- Shared 26 weeks/year of community call/coverage
- Coordinate coverage with partner to minimize travel frequency
- 25 weeks vacation annually
- 1 week/year executive duties
Duties & Census: Same as above
