Farm Clean Out Foreman

Job Description Summary:

Aviagen is looking for a self-motivated person who is capable to work with the team with supervisory skills to lead the position of Cleanout Foreman. This position will be responsible to supervise cleaning of assigned area. Maintain control of all the parts which could include all gaskets and replacement of broken or missing parts. Help set up in the assigned department or any other lines. This role will also responsible for supervising mixtures of cleaning solutions and other chemicals.

Job Description:

Ensure use of chemicals to clean and sanitized all machinery and areas assigned Supervise Tear down machinery at beginning of cleanup shift Supervise setup before production starts up in the morning Assign Duties to cleanout team Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers Do all tasks assigned by members of management Must be able to work in other departments as needed Must be able to perform other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character Poultry experience preferred but not required Basic understanding of machinery tears down and setup Basic Chemical understanding a strong plus Monitoring clean up (parts) experience 5 years of clean out crew experience We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
