Build a Farmers Insurance Agency in Albany, Georgia
Are you an experienced sales professional, business leader, or insurance professional ready to build something of your own?
The Richard Rappa District Office is seeking a motivated entrepreneur to develop and operate a Farmers Insurance agency serving the Albany community. This is an opportunity to build a local business with the support, training, products, and brand recognition of Farmers Insurance.
This is not a traditional salaried position. It is an agency ownership opportunity for someone who wants greater control over their income, professional growth, team, and long-term business development.
What You Will Do
As a Farmers agency owner, you will:
- Build relationships with individuals, families, and local businesses.
- Help clients identify appropriate insurance and financial solutions.
- Develop referral, networking, and community-marketing strategies.
- Manage sales activity, customer experience, and agency operations.
- Recruit and develop agency team members as the business grows.
- Establish a visible and trusted presence in the local community.
- Maintain required licenses and operate in accordance with company and state guidelines.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Sales, customer service, business development, or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A self-motivated and goal-oriented approach
- Confidence initiating conversations and following up with prospective clients
- Good organization, time management, and personal accountability
- Interest in becoming involved in the Albany community
- Active Georgia Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses or willingness to obtain them with our support
