Farmers Insurance Customer Service Representative (Copy)

The CSSR is responsible for customer service and sales of insurance products to existing and new clients. A CSSR supports the agency by handling details and performing administrative tasks related to insurance sales. Our successful candidate is a team-player with basic sales and customer service experience; excellent phone and face-to-face communication; a penchant for detail and organization; and a knack for multi-tasking, juggling priorities and problem-solving. As you learn each phase of the business, the financial rewards will increase.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Become licensed in Property & Casualty as well as Life, Accident and Health
• Develop agency relationship with existing clients
• Underwrite, rate and properly place new lines of business
• Keep agent informed of new account activity Maintain timely and accurate client records, keep updated at all times and generate reports as required by Supervisor or other agency staff
• Handle inbound and initiate outbound telephone calls to new and existing clients.
• Other related activities as assigned
