Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and creative Fashion Design Intern to join our design team. This internship is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainable fashion and eager to gain hands-on experience in the design process, from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong interest in fashion design, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment. This is a paid internship, with compensation ranging from $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and availability. Responsibilities: Assist the design team in creating mood boards, color palettes, and fabric sourcing. Help in sketching designs, preparing tech packs, and creating pattern samples. Collaborate with the team on product development and refining design concepts. Support in organizing and maintaining design samples and archives. Participate in fittings and provide feedback on garment fit and construction. Conduct research on design trends, fabric innovations, and sustainability. Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks and studio operations as needed. Requirements Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design program. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop). Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills. A passion for sustainability and eco-conscious fashion. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of fabric types and garment construction is a plus.
