Dart Commercial Services is the company for you! This position requires the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting all commercial refrigeration / kitchen equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Troubleshoot and repair Food Service/Commercial Kitchen Equipment.
Inspects commercial kitchen equipment and components to ensure safe operation.
Observe and test system operation, using gauges and instruments.
Test lines, components, and connections for leaks.
Adjust or replace worn or defective mechanisms and parts, and reassemble repaired systems.
Read wiring schematics to determine location, size, capacity, and type of components needed to repair Kitchen equipment.
Order, pick up, deliver, and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition.
Keep records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions.
Communicate with retail members and team regarding status of repairs to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated.
Drill holes and install mounting brackets and hangers into floor and walls of building.
Perform preventative maintenance as needed on various types of Food Service/Commercial Kitchen Equipment.
Sustains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech-24 standards.
Comply with all safety and sanitation rules, regulations, and guidelines; notify supervisor of unsafe/unsanitary conditions.
Participate in on-call duty rotation to meet department and member retailer needs.

Education and/or Experience

One year certificate from college or technical school; and three to five years related experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have a valid driver's license and an appropriate motor vehicle record
CFESA certified a plus

Computer Skills

Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel and Outlook (email).

Other Skills and Abilities

2-3 years of monitoring, repairing, and troubleshooting kitchen equipment experience
Working knowledge of refrigeration equipment, tools, and refrigerants
Working knowledge of silver solder tools
Working knowledge of normal shop equipment and hand tools
Must own industry's standard hand tools
Working knowledge of all electrical phases and voltage
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
Superb customer service skills
