Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a federal mission-critical construction project in the Albuquerque area. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution including schedule, budget, subcontractors, procurement, client communication, documentation, quality, and overall project performance.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing federal construction projects and be comfortable working in secure, highly regulated environments where planning, coordination, and execution are critical to project success.
ResponsibilitiesManage projects from award through closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedules and budgetsCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnelManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationLead project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholdersMonitor project progress and proactively resolve issuesEnsure compliance with contract requirements and federal regulationsSupport procurement, buyout, and subcontract administrationCoordinate closely with Superintendents, Quality Control, and Safety personnelMaintain strong client relationships throughout project execution
Requirements5+ years of Project Management experience in federal constructionExperience managing federal construction projectsStrong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost controlExperience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and project prioritiesStrong communication and leadership skills
Preferred QualificationsUSACE, DoD, DOE, AFCEC, NAVFAC, GSA, or other federal agency experienceMission-critical, laboratory, data center, semiconductor, energy, industrial, or secure facility experienceDesign-Build project experienceProcore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project experienceBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related fieldActive or previously held security clearance
