Job Description
Job Title: Feed Mill OperatorLocation: Juniata, NE Pay: $19.26/hourShift: Day Shift (Monday Friday, 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM;hours may vary, with some weekends required)Job Type: Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking Feed Mill Operator to support daily operations at a busy feed mill facility. This role is responsible for manufacturing feed, maintaining inventory, and ensuring quality and efficiency in production. If you enjoy hands-on work and being part of an essential agricultural operation, this is a great opportunity.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day feed mill operations, including manufacturing and processing customer feed orders
- Follow ration sheets and calculate proper ingredient percentages and animal health product levels
- Prepare and mix feed ingredients and produce bagged feed for stock
- Maintain and monitor feed and ingredient inventory levels
- Complete daily feed run sheets and batch mix documentation
- Assist with monthly and annual inventory counts
- Support general mill maintenance and upkeep
- Load customer orders from the dock
- Coordinate with feed delivery drivers on operations and scheduling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mill, warehouse, and storage areas
- Assist with grain and agronomy operations as needed
- Promote a safe, positive work environment and provide excellent customer service
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver s License required (Class B CDL preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and internal systems)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing work conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. As needed
- Work in all weather conditions and environments with dust, fumes, and moving equipment
