Job Description

Feed Mill Operator $17-$18/hr. THIS POSITION IS TEMPORARY WITH POTENTIAL TO BECOME LONG TERM!

Day or night shift available!

A local agronomy business in the Ireton, IA area is searching for ambitious, punctual, and work-hardened individuals to join their team as a Feed Mill Operator. The Feed Mill Operator assists in the management of the mill and process of storing and mixing of quality feed for livestock.

Responsibilities:

Receive and verify quality of ingredients, weigh out drugs and by-hand additions.
Batch feed in feed mill manager.
Help load complete feed on truck.
Operate pellet and roller mills where applicable and necessary.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Prefer previous manufacturing or mixing experience.
Ability to bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs. frequently.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
