About the Role
Essity is looking for an experiencedGlobal Brand Communications Manager for our FemCare category with a focus on North America. In this job you will drive profitable growth and strengthen our brand health by defining the way we define and communicate our brands (Playtex, Carefree) to target audiences/consumers/customers. You will cooperate closely with local marketing and commercial teams in the US and Canada as well as global brand, research, media and innovations teams to consistently position our brand in a territory that drives company sales growth and reach overall Essity targets. Essity feminine care brands globally are widely recognized for disrupting the Feminine Care category fighting against period-shaming stereotypes and contributing to close the menstrual health gap.

What You Will Do
- Support in developing, recommending and implementing the global brand & communications strategy in North America
- Develop and drive effective purpose-led brand and product communications along the entire path to purchase
- Lead the regional media, content and audience strategy for NA based on changing media behaviors and trends and partner with markets for seamless campaign activation in market
- Monitors brand performance and derives necessary action steps to fuel growth, measure and analyze communication effectiveness (incl. brand health), optimizes as needed
- Drive best practices and pilot testing of innovative media and communications markets to keep the brand at the forefront
- Brings the brand purpose, portfolio architecture, consumer segmentation and tools to live in North America that support the global/regional brand positioning
- Owns the NA communication budget and the relationship with creative, social and PR agencies
Who You Are
- Passion to work for a purpose-led business, join a taboo-breaking team and participate in the transformation of FemCare in North America by building leading brands
- 8-10 years relevant communications & brand experience with a bias to online/social/commerce working in a regional and/or global role or creative agency
- Proven track record in developing winning communication/content, experienced in media strategy
- Ability to understand consumer behavior across the entire ecosystem
- You are data-driven with a consumer-first focus, can translate human insights to guide communications development, have experience in analytics-based decision making, whereas success is measured in customer growth.
- As exceptional communicator, leader, collaborator, you know how to influence key stakeholders to launch progressive brand activations and work effectively in cross-functional teams in a solution-oriented way
- Fluent in English both verbally and written, other languages are a plus
