Mid Shift Field Service Diesel MechanicOur leading Heavy Equipment rental provider client in Louisville KY is hiring - pay up to $42/hr

This is a field-based role built for a mechanic who takes pride in their diagnostic ability, works well independently, and wants to be part of a company where skilled trades are genuinely valued. What You'll Be Doing

You'll be dispatched to customer job sites to perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy equipment. This isn't shop-only work. You'll own your mobile service unit, manage your work orders, and handle jobs from start to finish with a high level of independence. Specific responsibilities include:

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a variety of equipment types
Completing accurate daily work orders and electronic service documentation
Representing the company professionally at every customer site
Supporting equipment demonstrations and upsell conversations with customers when relevant
Assisting with equipment and parts logistics as needed

What the Right Candidate Brings

3 to 5 years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining heavy or construction equipment
Strong mechanical foundation with solid knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
Ability to diagnose complex issues with minimal supervision
Your own tools
Valid driver's license with a clean record
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs regularly
