Summary:
- Location: Elmwood, LA
- Duration: 8 Months
- U.S. Citizenship is Required, due to the possibility of having to travel to government/federal facilities.
- Mileage: 250-350 per week.
- Repair laptops and desktops in the metro area.
- Perform repair activities such as replacing hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards.
- Conduct whole unit swaps, repair, or replace PC peripherals.
- Close service tickets in real time in the Company's Call Management system using a company-provided phone.
- Must have own reliable car and car insurance.
- 1 year of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix.
- General knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software, including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Ability to resolve basic/non-complex problems as directed.
- Client and/or governmental clearance may be required.
- Police or criminal background verification clearance may be required.
- Dell certifications are required once an offer is extended and prior to starting work. These are free of cost to the candidate.
- Computer-building background experience.
