Field Geologist

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a full-time Field Geologist for tour Somerset, New Jersey office. Responsibilities will include construction observation and testing of soil, concrete, and other materials. GTA will provide you with Personal Protective Equipment, which includes a High Visibility Vest, Hard Hat, Gloves, and Safety Glasses. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. Overtime should be expected and is paid at time and a half. Occasional weekend work may be required. This is an excellent opportunity for training, certifications, and career growth!

Requirements

• High School Diploma or College Degree
• Ability to lift 60 pounds or more on a regular basis
• Previous Soils Testing experience desired
• Own Reliable Transportation
• Good Driving Record

NOTE:  This position may require standing for extended periods as well as repetitive motions such as lifting or hammering. The employee must have the ability to use their hands to handle, finger or feel; reach, climb or balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel and sit, see and smell; including close, distance and peripheral vision, depth vision and ability to focus.
