Field Marketing Development Specialist

Lead, Coach, and Inspire the Next Generation of Marketing/Sales Talent at DC Pines!

Full-Time | Houston, TXHybrid Office & Field Role | Base + Commission

At DC Pines Roofing, our Field Marketing Development Specialist is one of the most important roles in the company because they help shape the first impression new hires have of our culture, standards, leadership, and opportunity.

This role is for someone who is highly personable, energetic, confident, and naturally motivating... someone who knows how to command a room, keep people engaged, build confidence, and coach individuals to improve quickly.

You’ll be responsible for in office class training, developing, and evaluating new field marketing hires through hands-on coaching, roleplay, shadowing, accountability, and live field training.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead onboarding and ramp-up training for new field marketing hires
  • Teach door-to-door canvassing fundamentals and communication skills
  • Facilitate roleplay exercises, demonstrations, and objection handling practice
  • Conduct live field shadows and hands-on coaching in real-time environments
  • Track trainee performance and help create measurable improvement outcomes
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses, and early signs of poor fit within trainees
  • Help establish company culture, professionalism, accountability, and team standards from day one
  • Keep training engaging, high-energy, structured, and productive
  • Work closely with leadership to improve training systems and field performance

  • Strong leadership presence and communication skills
  • Highly energetic, personable, and motivating personality
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading training environments
  • Ability to coach, correct, and hold people accountable professionally
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal awareness
  • Ability to identify root causes behind performance struggles
  • Someone who can balance fun, energy, and accountability effectively
  • Experience in sales, canvassing, training, leadership, athletics, hospitality, recruiting, or team development is strongly preferred

This role is ideal for someone who naturally inspires people while still maintaining standards and structure.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $60,000 - $90,000+ annual earning potential
  • $750/week base pay plus commission opportunities

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Active auto insurance required
  • Reliable personal transportation required. *no ride shares, shared vehicles, or public transportation will be permitted
  • Full-time availability required (Monday-Friday, 830am-530PM)
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Professional appearance and communication skills required
  • Previous experience in door-to-door sales, canvassing, in-home sales, field marketing, team leadership, training, or similar customer-facing roles strongly preferred
