ESS-337

Location: Manassas, VA

Length of Project: 8-12 months potentially longer.

Requires that our safety professional be in the field at least 80% of the time. Approximately 90% of our work takes place in a cleanroom environment, and we are currently working in two fabs on the same site. The site is quite large and requires a significant amount of walking, so I wanted to provide that context as well.

Below is a list of the day-to-day duties provided by our Safety Manager.

Applicant must have current OSHA 500 certification. Industrial construction experience needed.Duties to include:

Manage all safety equipment and PPE.
Review all JHAs daily.
Manage the ERT employees and entering in the weekly time sheets.
Manage the client employee new hires for client, scheduling drug screens and giving the safety orientation 8 to 10 hours length.
Provide all the necessary safety training for the client site employees.
Give the annual client continuous education safety training for all employees.
Provide daily walk reports with a monthly summary.
Give the weekly safety meeting.
Submit monthly hours to client.
Submit daily surveys to client.

Summary:

In the role of Field Safety Manager, you will be essential in ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and promoting a safe working environment within industrial construction projects. Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will leverage your core skills in construction management and environmental health and safety (EHS) to oversee safety protocols and risk management strategies. Your expertise in occupational health will be vital in mitigating hazards.
