• Job Title: Field Safety Manager• Location: Jackson, MS (Central & South Mississippi Projects)• Start Date: ASAP• Type: Direct Hire
• Compensation:• Salary Range: $75,000 to $79,000 annually• Estimated Total Cash Compensation: ~$103,000 to $107,000 including allowances• Bonus: Generous discretionary, performance-based bonus opportunity
Benefits:• Company vehicle• $50/day non-taxable per diem• Lodging reimbursement available• 85% employer-paid health coverage• 6% 401(k) match• ESOP participation• PTO and insurance programs
• Schedule:• Hours: Salaried exempt, minimum 50 hours per week• Schedule: Project-driven• Shift: Daytime based on jobsite schedule• Regional travel required within project footprint
Scope of Role:This role supports heavy civil construction and early infrastructure development across Mississippi. Emphasis is placed on field engagement, hazard recognition, and compliance reinforcement.
• Qualifications:• OSHA 30 preferred• OSHA 510 preferred• Exposure to utilities, grading, or infrastructure projects• Travel flexibility
Key Responsibilities:• Conduct routine site audits• Lead toolbox talks and field coaching• Support hazard identification efforts• Maintain documentation• Reinforce company safety philosophy
Skills:• Strong field presence• Influential communicator• Organized and reliable• Proactive problem-solver
Knowledge Base:Understanding of OSHA construction regulations and civil construction safety hazards.
