Field Safety Manager

• Job Title: Field Safety Manager• Location: Birmingham, AL (Servicing Alabama & Mississippi Projects)• Start Date: ASAP• Type: Direct Hire

• Compensation:• Salary Range: $76,000 to $80,000 annually• Estimated Total Cash Compensation: ~$105,000 to $109,000 including allowances• Bonus: Generous discretionary, performance-based bonus opportunity

• Schedule:• Hours: Salaried exempt, minimum 50 hours per week• Schedule: Monday through Friday plus project demands• Shift: Daytime based on jobsite schedule• Regional travel required as assigned

Scope of Role:Provides field-level safety execution across heavy civil and early-stage construction projects. This position supports compliance, field engagement, and safety reinforcement rather than leading a full program redesign.

• Qualifications:• OSHA 30 preferred• OSHA 510 preferred• Heavy civil or excavation exposure preferred• Willingness to travel within assigned region

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct inspections and field observations• Reinforce OSHA construction compliance• Support JHAs and hazard planning• Lead toolbox talks• Monitor corrective actions• Partner with project leadership
