Title: Medical Gas Field Service TechnicianLocation: Regional Travel / On-Site at Healthcare FacilitiesHire Type: Full-TimeTarget Salary: $28-32/hrBenefits: Standard benefits package (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k)Must Have Skill SetMechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsField service or equipment maintenance experienceAbility to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematicsValid driver’s license and willingness to travelStrong customer service mindsetOverviewSeeking a Field Service Technician to support large-scale medical gas and vacuum systems used in hospital and healthcare environments. These systems distribute medical oxygen and other gases throughout healthcare facilities and are critical to patient care.This role involves on-site installation support, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency service response to minimize system downtime. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, and able to travel as required.Job DutiesPerform installation support, start-up, and in-service training on medical gas and vacuum systemsConduct preventative and corrective maintenance on medical gas pipeline and source equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in the fieldRespond to emergency service calls when systems are downRead and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manualsFollow established SOPs and work instructionsSupport quality investigations and provide technical recommendations when neededAssist with aftermarket support activitiesComplete the majority of work on medical gas pipeline and related systemsTravel to customer sites, including occasional overnight travel on short noticeMaintain professional communication with staff and stakeholdersQualifications3–5 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience requiredField service or customer-facing technical experience preferredEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate’s degree or technical certification preferred
