Field Service Technician Pay Rate: $21.00/hr Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Occasional overtime or after-hours based on project needs
- On-call rotation required
Location: Arvada, CO 80002 (Denver Metro and surrounding areas)
Position Summary
The Field Service Technician I serves as the primary onsite technical contact for customer locations. This role involves providing hands-on IT and hardware support, including printer, POS, and system repairs. Technicians will be dispatched to multiple client sites to resolve break-fix and IMAC requests in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT support at customer locations (banks, retailers, and other businesses).
- Perform break-fix and IMAC services.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain laser, plotter, and wide-format printers.
- Support laptops, servers, networks, and POS systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
- Perform preventive maintenance to optimize equipment performance.
- Collaborate with Level II and Lead Technicians as needed.
- Provide clear technical support onsite and remotely.
- Maintain accurate service documentation.
- Uphold quality and customer service standards.
Requirements:
- Drug and Background screening
- MVR-reliable transportation
- 2–5 years of technical experience preferred (training provided).
- Strong hardware repair and break-fix experience (laser printers, plotters, formatter systems).
- Experience supporting PC and POS systems.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ certification (preferred).
- Lexmark certifications and hands-on experience.
- OEM service experience.
Travel Requirements
- Daily travel: Approximately 25–50 miles (varies by site).
- Candidates should reside within 20 miles of Arvada, CO.
