Field Service Technician Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician Supervisor to lead, coach, and hold accountable our HVAC service technicians in the field.

This role is responsible for ensuring quality workmanship, revenue performance, customer satisfaction, and technician development. The ideal candidate is a strong technician who has grown into leadership — someone who can lead by example while driving performance standards.

This is not a sit-in-the-office role. This is hands-on leadership.

Key Responsibilities

– Supervise and support field service technicians – Conduct ride-alongs and performance coaching – Ensure technicians follow company service standards and procedures – Improve close rates and average ticket performance – Monitor callbacks and quality control – Train technicians on diagnostics and repair best practices – Enforce safety protocols and professionalism standards – Collaborate with office staff and dispatch to improve workflow – Assist with complex diagnostics when needed – Maintain high customer satisfaction standards

Performance Expectations

– Maintain team close rate above company standard – Reduce callback rate – Increase average ticket value responsibly (ethical sales) – Improve technician productivity and efficiency – Develop future lead technicians

✅ Qualifications

– 5+ years HVAC field experience – Proven diagnostic ability – Experience mentoring or leading other technicians – Strong communication skills – Ability to hold others accountable – Organized and process-driven – Valid driver's license

Preferred but not required: – Prior supervisory or service manager experience – NATE certification
