Job Description
We are looking for a Scaffolding Supervisor/Foreman to lead field operations for scaffolding and access system projects across the East Coast. This role is responsible for managing crews, ensuring safe installations, and maintaining productivity on active job sites. The position supports industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects requiring temporary access solutions. This is a strong fit for a hands-on leader who can direct crews, enforce safety standards, and keep projects moving in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead scaffolding crews in the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems across multiple job sites
- Supervise daily field operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to maintain workflow and sequencing
- Enforce OSHA standards, safety protocols, and company procedures on all job sites
- Review drawings, site plans, and scope details to guide accurate scaffold installation
- Monitor crew productivity, track progress, and adjust manpower as needed to meet project timelines
- Conduct daily safety meetings, inspections, and toolbox talks with field teams
- Manage material usage, equipment needs, and jobsite organization to support efficient operations
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays or safety risks
- Travel to job sites across the East Coast, including overnight stays, to support ongoing projects
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in scaffolding, industrial services, or construction field supervision
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, erection methods, and jobsite safety practices
- Proven experience leading crews and managing field operations on active construction or industrial sites
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements
- Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in field environments
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently (50–75%) across the East Coast
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in scaffolding or safety preferred
