Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Field Technician to support industrial maintenance, fabrication, and installation projects at customer sites throughout the region. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with welding, pipefitting, and mechanical maintenance, and be comfortable working in industrial environments such as manufacturing facilities, processing plants, and commercial sites.

Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of industrial piping systems and equipment. Assist with pipe fabrication, fitting, cutting, threading, and assembly according to project specifications. Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials as required. Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and work orders. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, pumps, valves, and related equipment. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and material handling equipment. Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency service work as needed. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety policies and customer site requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used. Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and team members regarding project status and field conditions.

Requirements: 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, welding, pipefitting, or a related trade. Working knowledge of industrial piping systems, valves, pumps, and mechanical equipment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints. Experience with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass pre-employment screening and drug testing OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Experience working in chemical plants, manufacturing facilities, refineries, or industrial environments. Welding certifications are a plus.
