Position DescriptionTitle: Extrusion OperatorDepartment: Shrink - ExtrusionImmediate Supervisor: Beau LeakStatus: Full-Time Night Shift Crew, Rotating 2-2-3Position Purpose: Operates, Maintains, and controls the equipment and process on the Blown Line to produce high quality WIP roll in a safe and productive manner to efficiently service customer orders by performing the following duties.

Principle Accountabilities

Maintains a clean and safe work area, machines, and equipment.Identifies and reports deficiencies in product quality or packing.Adjust the line to correct specifications by setting necessary controls and process conditions.Monitors the line to maintain changing conditions by adjusting die bolts, heat adjustments, tube tracking, winder settings and other process settings to ensure quality of WIP produced.Conducts quality tests by cutting, weighing, and checking film samples for proper quality specifications.Maintain a clean work environment.Other duties assigned by the Extrusion Supervisor and/or Production Manager.
