Finance And Accounting - Operational Accountant 2 - Contingent

Introduction

In this contingent resource assignment, you may participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Operational Accounting. You will review and analyze basic or tactical Operational Accounting assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. You will also present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing an understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Additionally, you will provide information to client personnel in Operational Accounting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Participate in initiatives to improve operational accounting processes.
• Review and analyze operational accounting assignments.
• Provide information and recommendations for resolving accounting challenges.
