Job Description

Loving Air is a locally owned, family-run HVAC company serving residential homeowners and faith-based organizations in our community. We are seeking a Finance Assistant to support the daily operations of our Finance Department through accurate data entry, transaction processing, reporting support, and administrative coordination.
This role is ideal for someone organized, analytical, and dependable — someone who understands that strong financial systems support strong business growth.
What You’ll Do
Accounting & Administrative Support
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Support payroll preparation by gathering and verifying time and deduction data
- Maintain vendor documentation and purchasing records
- Enter financial data into accounting systems and ensure record accuracy
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reconciliations
- Help compile balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Support ROI and cost analyses by organizing financial data
- Provide financial information to department leaders as requested
- Assist with month-end closing activities
Budgeting & Forecasting Support
- Gather operational and financial data for forecasting
- Prepare preliminary budget documentation for management review
- Track and document budget variances
- Support the Finance Manager with special projects

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
- 1–3 years of related accounting or finance experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
- QuickBooks and ServiceTitan experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems
