Finance Assistant
Job Location: Lathrop, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $22-$23/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Finance Assistant? Our client is looking for a detail oriented and customer focused professional to support our Finance Department. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, enjoys working with the public, and is comfortable handling financial transactions in a dynamic office environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process cash and credit card payments accurately
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with general administrative duties within the Finance Department
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a government agency in Lathrop, California.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a finance, accounting, or administrative support role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Accurate data entry and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly desireable
