- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Receive, record, deposit, and apply customer and insurance payments
- Prepare checks and process approved company expenses
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation using company accounting systems
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance-sheet accounts
- Track outstanding receivables and resolve account discrepancies
- Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement tracking
- Assist with month-end close and recurring financial reporting
- Assist with financial analysis and special projects
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and employee information
- Assist with onboarding, employee paperwork, and orientation
- Maintain employee records and training documentation
- Support benefits administration and annual review processes
- Assist management with recruiting and other administrative projects as needed
- At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration required; 5 or more years preferred
- Demonstrated experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office 365
- Experience using accounting, payroll, or business-management software
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and dependable attendance
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
