Job Description

Deborah's Place is seeking a Finance & Grants Accountant to support our programs through strong financial management, compliance, and internal controls.

This position is in-person, Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial statements and manage the general ledger
Support annual budgets and external audits
Manage government contracts, vouchering, reconciliation and grant reporting
Manage audits, funder reporting and compliance
Strengthen internal controls and perform special projects as assigned

Position Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master Degree preferred.

Job Experience:

3+ years not-for-profit accounting experience
Analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as a team
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
