A well-established regional law firm with more than 120 attorneys is seeking a Finance Attorney to join its growing transactional practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney who wants to build a diverse finance practice with meaningful client contact, sophisticated transactions, and long-term growth potential within a collaborative regional platform.

The Practice

The attorney will represent banks, financial institutions, borrowers, and other business clients in a broad range of financing transactions, including:

Asset-based lendingCommercial lending and secured finance501(c)(3) financingsHealthcare-related financingsPublic/private infrastructure financingsLoan documentation and transaction structuringDue diligence and closing coordinationDrafting and negotiating credit agreements, security documents, guarantees, and related financing documentsAdvising lenders and borrowers throughout the lifecycle of complex financing transactions

Depending on experience, the attorney may also work on:

Municipal and tax-exempt financingsNew Markets Tax Credit transactionsLow-Income Housing Tax Credit transactionsHistoric Tax Credit transactionsOther tax-advantaged or public finance matters

Job Details

Ideal Background2–4+ years of substantive finance experienceExperience representing banks or other financial institutions in complex financingsBackground in commercial lending, secured finance, or asset-based lendingExperience in a midsize or large law firm environmentExposure to healthcare, nonprofit, infrastructure, or public finance transactions is highly desirableMunicipal finance, tax-exempt finance, or tax credit experience is a plusStrong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skillsExcellent academic credentialsStrong written and verbal communication skillsEntrepreneurial mindset and interest in developing client relationshipsAbility to manage multiple transactions and deadlinesJ.D. from an accredited law schoolPennsylvania Bar admission or eligibility to become admitted
