ProMach's Financial Shared Service Organization (FSS) is seeking a talented Finance Automation Lead. This position resides within the FSS Automation Center of Excellence and reports to the Director of Process Improvement and Automation. The Financial Shared Service Organization is a USA based, onshore operation located near Cincinnati, OH.

This is a new position within Corporate Finance and will be responsible for leading a small team of automation specialists. The team will focus on streamlining and optimizing financial processes through the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation solutions.

The Finance Automation Lead will be a catalyst for the finance organizational transformation, through leading projects that directly support ProMach's strategic goals of operational excellence, customer experience, and value creation. By leveraging intelligent automation tools, this role will enable the finance team to deliver actionable insights, accelerate reporting cycles, enhance productivity, ensure quality data and maintain compliance standards.

  • Work directly with the Director of Process Improvement and Automation as well as the process owners across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Account-to-Record (A2R), Corporate and Business Unit Finance, to support the identification and implementation of process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Lead, coach and develop Finance Automation Specialists which include assigning tasks, monitoring progress and providing technical assistance as needed.
  • Execute the design, testing and implementation of complex automation workflows using tools like Power Automate, Alteryx, PowerBi.
  • Review the design, testing and documentation completed by Finance Automation Specialists to ensure all automation solutions meet established standards, follow best practices and comply with internal policies.
  • Develop solutions and assist in implementing process improvement and automation initiatives within the business covering a wide range of project complexity.
  • Track and communicate the impact of automation initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Partner on cross-functional initiatives to increase efficiencies and effectiveness across departments and organizations.
  • Identify opportunities for FSS to drive value through customer centricity, productivity, quality, and innovation.

  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related experience required. CPA, MBA preferred, not required.
  • 7+ years of professional experience, including experience in finance and/or accounting team lead positions. Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytic mindset, problem solving/root-cause analysis and process mapping.
  • Knowledge of Intelligent Automation tools and demonstrated experience deploying complex projects using tools such as Power Automate, Alteryx, PowerBi, Tableau.
  • Ability to understand and identify the connections between specific projects and key strategic objectives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to condense information and be concise.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and trust with key stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel up to 15%.
