About the Role
Talarico for Texas is hiring a Finance Coordinator to join James Talarico’s US Senate campaign. This is a full-time, paid position perfect for someone interested in starting their career in Democratic campaigns.
About You
- Dedicated to Democratic politics and ready to help elect James Talarico to the US Senate
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to juggle more than one project at once, along with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a team under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment
Responsibilities
- Provide key administrative and organizational support for the finance team
- Coordinate communications and manage calendar/agenda for finance committee
- Assist with donor research projects
- Manage vetting process for finance team
- Staff events and travel the state for fundraising events as needed
Requirements
Qualifications
- Ties to Texas preferred but not required
- Interest in and knowledge of Democratic politics
- Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Familiarity with GSuite tools, Microsoft tools, Numero, and NGP
- Access to reliable transportation
Benefits
Reports to: Finance Director
Location: Austin, Texas (statewide travel required)
Salary: $5,000 per month
