POSITION SUMMARY:
The intern will assist with various financial tasks, including departmental financial reporting and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Proven experience working with cross functional teams
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other employees.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
- Ensure all crib issuance transactions are properly documented and classified.
- Work with materials and procurement teams to verify the accuracy of crib issuance records.
- Assist in reconciling discrepancies related to crib issuances.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of departmental reporting tools.
- Support the finance team in comparing actual financial performance to plan.
- Help prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Analyze variances between actual and plan and provide insights.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial data.
