Job Description
Finance Manager Manufacturing | Humble, TXA growing manufacturing operation is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial strategy and oversee day-to-day finance operations for a new plant in Humble, Texas. This role will partner closely with leadership to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support long-term growth.Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy, policies, and processes aligned with business objectives
- Oversee daily financial operations including AP, AR, inventory control, and manufacturing cost analysis
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and forecasting
- Ensure accurate accounting records, compliance, and coordination with auditors
- Lead financing initiatives and maintain relationships with financial institutions
- Oversee tax planning and filings and identify opportunities for tax optimization
- Pursue subsidies, loans, tax credits, and government incentives related to manufacturing projects
- Develop the finance team and strengthen internal controls and financial processes
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights that support operational growth
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Experience as a Finance Manager or Controller in a manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise in financial planning, cost accounting, tax strategy, and capital management
- Experience with financing, fundraising, or investor relations is a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturing incentives and tax credit programs preferred
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and tax regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Bilingual English/Mandarin preferred but not required.
