Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with public accounting standards and GAAP.
2. Manage the month-end and month-close processes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
3. Develop and manage the annual budget, including the forecast and budgeting processes.
4. Provide financial reporting, analysis, and insights to support strategic decision-making.
5. Leverage fintech solutions to streamline and automate financial processes and operations.
6. Collaborate with the technology team to implement new payment services and improve existing ones.
7. Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
8. Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls over financial reporting.
9. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

1. MBA degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA a plus.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within the Technology (or similar) industry.
3. Proven experience in GAAP, month-end and month-close processes
4. Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
5. Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
6. Proficiency in using financial software, ERPs and advanced MS Excel skills.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Familiarity with the latest industry trends and being up-to-date with the latest financial laws and best practice.
