Job Description

Starling Automotive Group is a growing organization looking for an experienced Finance Manager for the Starling Chevrolet Store in Mount Pleasant, SC.

Position Summary:The Automotive Finance Manager is responsible for securing financing for customers, structuring deals, and presenting financial products in a compliant, transparent, and profitable manner. This role bridges the gap between the sales department and financial institutions while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell finance and insurance (F&I) products including extended warranties, GAP insurance, service contracts, and protection packages
  • Secure financing through a network of lenders while obtaining the most competitive approvals for customers
  • Structure deals to maximize profitability while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and dealership regulations
  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and financial institutions
  • Review and verify customer credit applications and financial data
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements (FTC, Truth in Lending, etc.)
  • Work closely with the sales team to finalize deals and maintain deal flow efficiency
  • Achieve monthly performance targets for product penetration and profit per deal
  • Provide a high level of customer service and build trust during the finance process

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Finance Manager or in a dealership F&I role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive financing, lending practices, and compliance regulations
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profit goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and CRM tools
