Job Description
Schedule: Full time
Main Function:
Assists the Director with the financial reporting for the department and provides leadership/supervision to the accounts payable specialists.
Job Specific Competencies:
- Demonstrates strong accounting, analytical and computer skills including gathering and presenting data in a logical and professional manner.
- Demonstrates a willingness to take initiative and work with minimal direction.
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively with associates and management.
- Demonstrates skill and confidence in making decisions and prioritizing assignments.
- Exhibits leadership skills through being available for staff and providing guidance on a daily basis.
- Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, Associates and the health system.
Qualifications:
- CPA Preferred
Education and experience:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting
- A minimum of five years of financial accounting experience.
- Must be proficient with various forms of PC software to include Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Pay Range: $90,000 - $105,000/salary
Starting Pay: Based on experience
