Brandt Heating and Air Conditioning, a cornerstone of the Iowa City, IA community, is seeking a meticulous and customer-focused part-time Finance Specialist- Customer Coordinator to join our dedicated team. As a Finance Specialist- Customer Coordinator, you'll earn a competitive wage of $20-$28 per hour, providing financial stability and rewarding your expertise. Our consistent part-time work schedule of 7 am-4 pm or 8 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday, is designed to support a healthy work-life balance, allowing you to excel in your role while also having ample time for personal pursuits and commitments.
All that you need is:
- 5+ years of customer service experience
- Fluency in Excel and Outlook
- Computer experience is essential
- Experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping
- Experience with invoicing, accounts receivable, permits, or job costing
- Experience using a field service management software
- Cost accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred!

YOUR DAY AS A PRICING COORDINATOR- CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
In your part-time role at Brandt Heating and Air Conditioning, you handle invoicing and customer service. You process job invoices, answer calls, and schedule estimates to ensure customer satisfaction. You also calculate job costs, gather submittal information, and prepare payroll by collecting time cards from the team. At the month's end, you manage invoicing for new construction and multi-family projects and work with colleagues to finalize accounts while processing payments and mechanical permit requests to maintain a smooth workflow.
