Stratasys is looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team in Rheinmuenster!

In this role, you will take ownership of the accounting activities for several Stratasys entities and collaborate closely with our Regional and Global Controlling teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial excellence across EMEA.

This is a one-year maternity cover position, offering the opportunity to gain exposure in a dynamic, international environment.

What You Will Do

• Invoice Management: Reviewing, coding, and processing high-volume vendor invoices (corporate, OPEX, CAPEX).
• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Enter invoice data into the accounting system for payment processing.
• Generate and maintain accounts payable aging reports and payment activity summaries.
• Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve billing discrepancies or payment queries.
• Regularly reconciling Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GRNI) accounts. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances or discrepancies.
• Generate and maintain accounts payable aging reports and payment activity summaries
• Month-End Support: Assisting with accruals, prepayments, and preparing data for financial reporting and audits. Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of invoices, payments, and correspondence.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and implement best practices.

What we are looking for

• Languages: Fluent English (written and oral).
• Software: Experience in Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
