Job Description

As a global manufacturer specializing in custom automation solutions used across a wide range of industries, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the team on-site/hybrid. This is a strong opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to build hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment while gaining exposure to ERP systems and project-based financial operations.

What You'll Do as the Financial Accountant:

  • Support the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and cash activity
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial data within the company's ERP system
  • Assist with inventory and work-in-process tracking and reconciliations
  • Process payroll and related reporting
  • Partner with project managers to support project setup and financial tracking
  • Contribute to weekly cash forecasting activities
  • Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting requirements
  • Provide support across accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
  • Participate in process improvements and system enhancements
  • Support ad hoc accounting and finance initiatives

Must-Haves as the Financial Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience processing payroll
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
  • Experience working with an ERP system
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Haves as the Financial Accountant:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to inventory or work-in-process accounting
  • Familiarity with ADP payroll systems
  • Experience with CloudSuite Industrial or similar ERP platforms
