Overview
Job Description
To provide technical financial support for an assigned organization unit. To review requests and determine appropriateness with regard to institutional requirements, proper authorization, and conformance with established regulations. To assist with the maintenance and reconciliation of budgets and accounts, review requisitions, and order equipment and supplies. To collect financial information and provide reports and analyses as needed. This position will work within the loan services sector of Student Account Services.
Typical duties will include the following:
- Process tuition payments from collection agencies on Banner (works with Jeannette on the final process)
- Run lists from Report Viewer regarding students who have withdrawn and have Title IV funds, works with the Registrar's and the Financial aid office in processing Return to Title IV funds
- Processing Exits, send letters/repay agreements to students who have federal aid and who have withdrawn to less than half time status (scan/index documentation for each student)
- Customer Service, contact collection agency
- Work with departments regarding student accounts/charges, process manual adjustments
- Process payment requests for emergency student loans, invoices for Staples
- Sign prom notes
- Other duties as assigned by management
Salary Range: $17.95 - $18.49
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
Preferred:
- Background in financial aid, student accounts or similar as well as strong organization
- Customer service skills.
