If you thrive on building relationships, simplifying complex financial concepts, and delivering exceptional student service, this is your opportunity to make a real impact in higher education.

What You’ll Do:

The Financial Aid Advisor serves as the primary resource for students as they navigate the financial aid process. From assisting with FAFSA applications to building financial estimates and payment plans, you’ll provide personalized advising to help students make informed decisions about their education. You will also ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body regulations while working collaboratively with admissions and student services to create a seamless enrollment and financial aid experience.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Guide Students – Assist students with financial aid applications, scholarships, and loan processes; present at new student orientations to explain available resources.
  • Create Financial Solutions – Develop aid estimates and third-party payment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Ensure Timely Processing – Follow up with students to collect required documentation and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate Across Departments – Partner with admissions and other teams to streamline enrollment and financial aid processes.
  • Maintain Compliance – Interpret and apply regulations to keep operations smooth, compliant, and audit-ready.
  • Deliver Outstanding Service – Provide clear, supportive communication through meetings, phone calls, and emails.
  • Support Campus Community – Participate in school events such as graduations and open houses to foster engagement.

Why Join Us?

  • Direct Impact – Help students access the resources they need to stay enrolled and succeed.
  • Professional Growth – Build your expertise in financial aid and higher education while advancing your career.
  • Mission-Driven Environment – Work in a role where your skills directly support student dreams.
  • Collaborative Culture – Join a supportive team that values accuracy, accountability, and student success.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in financial aid or finance.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Strong problem-solving and active listening skills.
    • Exceptional organizational ability and attention to detail.
    • Comfortable working independently and in a team setting.
    • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Student-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence.

Benefits

At ATS Institute of Technology, we value our people and their growth. We offer competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports your professional and personal well-being.

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $23.00 – $28.00 per hour. Compensation is subject to change at the sole discretion of the institution, based on institutional needs.

Our benefits include:

  • Comprehensive Health Coverage – Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • PTO & Paid Holidays – Balance your career with personal time and rest.
  • Professional Growth – Tuition reimbursement and ongoing professional development.
  • Retirement Security – 401(k) with employer match to support your future.
