Financial Analyst

This position provides support to the Finance Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the Financial Services Department with statutory analysis and reporting. Responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and statutory reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly closing of accounting records and reconciling accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple companies
• Coordinate and prepare quarter and annual external reporting.
• Maintain fixed assets records.
• Investment accounting journal entries and reporting using Clearwater Analytics.
• Prepare and analyze board reports
• Create and generate management reports, monthly and on demand
• Provide support with audit and actuarial activities.
• Maintain written procedures for various job functions.
• Ensures security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
• Provide exceptional customer experience.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field with a minimum of two years financial statement accounting experience required. Experience in statutory accounting is also preferred.

Remote/Office: Office- willing to consider Hybrid position.  Candidates must live with in a 2 hour commute to the office location.  

Travel: Not required
