Job Description

Houlihan Lokey's Capital Solutions Group originates, structures, and executes private and public debt and equity financings on behalf of the firm's corporate and private equity clients across numerous industries. Financial Analysts work on transactions that provide exposure to various financing products, techniques and applications, such as bank debt / senior loans, second-lien debt, unitranche debt, mezzanine debt and equity / equity-linked securities for a variety of situations, including growth capital, leveraged buyouts (LBOs), acquisition financing, refinancings, dividend recapitalizations and special situations.

Members of the Capital Solutions Group work closely with a range of sponsor-backed, public and privately-owned clients, as well as with Houlihan Lokey's industry coverage, M&A and financial restructuring teams.

You will

• Work side-by-side with a talented, dedicated staff of senior professionals who will provide broad exposure to the many different considerations affecting public and private debt and equity financings;

• Assist with evaluating and structuring customized financing alternatives for private equity and corporate clients;

• Gain hands-on transaction experience by playing an integral role on deal teams from the initial pitch through closing;

• Develop general corporate finance and valuation skills relevant to raising capital, while building a detailed understanding of key developments in the debt and equity capital markets; and

• Interact with a broad range of businesses across different industries and with unique capital needs.

Basic Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have prior investment banking experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. While teamwork is essential to the firm's success, creativity and new ideas are encouraged.

• At least two years of investment banking experience is required

• Coursework in accounting and finance required

• Strong analytical capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills

• A fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and application

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong financial and computer (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) skills

• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff

Compensation and Benefits

Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:

$120,000-$130,000

Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
