Financial Analyst

What you get to do:

The Financial Analyst will assist in performing day-to-day analytical functions across SEA. This position will routinely work with varying levels of management at both the corporate office and the parks. Working closely with the finance and strategy teams, this position will be responsible for providing analytical services for park locations and SEA initiatives. This position will perform multiple functions to include but not limited to:

  • Analyzing park pricing initiatives and providing analytical support.
  • Attendance analysis by location and product.
  • Per cap variance review and analysis for admissions and in-park spending across the company.
  • Marketing analytical support on new campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of the business unit strategy meetings.
  • Financial analysis around macro-economic and industry trends.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budget and provide expense variance analysis for corporate departments.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

What it takes to succeed:

  • Must have a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or related business discipline.
  • Must have at least two years of relevant business experience (financial planning, accounting, business analysis).
  • Must be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Must possess strong communication skills.
  • Must have a proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a team environment.
  • Must have strong analytical skills.
  • Must be experienced in Excel and PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.
