Job Description
One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an experienced and highly capable Financial Management Lead to support our Federal Government client. The Financial Management Lead will perform advanced financial, accounting, analytical, and supervisory duties to ensure accurate program oversight, sound fiscal execution, and compliance with government requirements.
Financial Management Lead Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced financial analysis, accounting review, and data validation across multiple programs
- Monitor and evaluate the financial condition of assigned programs to ensure fiscal responsibility and compliance
- Provide recommendations on budget execution, cost controls, and financial planning initiatives
- Serve as a liaison to government stakeholders regarding financial operations and reporting
- Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, improper expenditures, and financial inconsistencies
- Develop and implement administrative and technical procedures to improve financial processes
- Support budget formulation, forecasting, and execution activities
- Direct and oversee the work of junior analysts and contractor personnel
- Ensure all deliverables meet contract requirements, timelines, and government standards
- Conduct complex research and analysis to support financial and operational decision-making
- Prepare reports, briefings, and summaries for leadership review
Financial Management Lead Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum three years of related experience.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Experience with Government accounting systems.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Ability to consistently deliver high‑quality work under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- CPA certification required.
